The Second MyndState is Rest.
Your body goes through tremendous stress everyday. The most important function we undergo is to rest, recover, and regenerate. Without time in the State of Rest we cannot restore burnt out nerves; rebuild tissues that break, stretch, and bend; or digest our food properly.
Signals that you need to be in this State more often are: digestive issues, acid reflux, irritability, possessiveness, insecurity, mental blocks, issues with going to the restroom, depression, inability to make decisions, "retail therapy," feeling of being lost, loss of purpose, prejudice, and fatalism.
The puzzle with the State of Rest is that if you are chronically lacking proper rest, you will drift from being tired to burned out to exhausted, to lost, to depressed, to hopeless and these feelings drain your strength. Although you may sleep 12 hours being depressed, your body is still in a State of Survival, lacking any benefit from a State of Rest. Mind yourself and avoid this slippery slope.
